xThe COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test is a lateral flow immunoassay for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigen in anterior nasal swab samples directly from individuals suspected of COVID-19 within the first seven days of symptom onset.
The test can be used to test samples from asymptomatic individuals. This antigen is generally found in upper respiratory tract samples during the acute phase of infection. Positive results indicate the presence of viral antigens, but clinical history and other personal diagnoses are needed to determine infection status. Positive results do not rule out bacterial infections or co-infection with other viruses. The detected pathogen may not be the exact cause of the disease. Negative results in individuals with symptoms present for more than seven days should be treated as presumptive negative. If this occurs, confirm with molecular analysis.
Negative results do not rule out SARS-CoV-2 infection. The SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test is used as an aid in the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The utility of independent testing by individuals under 18 years of age has not been determined. It is recommended that individuals under 18 be tested by an adult.
Test results are read visually within a 15- to 30-minute successive interval, based on the presence or absence of colored lines. A colored line with a procedural control function will always appear in the control line area, to indicate that a sufficient sample volume has been inserted and that membrane absorption has occurred.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
