xThe COVID-19 Rapid Hygiene Test is a lateral flow assay for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigen in direct anterior nasal swab samples from individuals suspected of COVID-19 within the first seven days of symptom onset.
The test can be used to test samples from asymptomatic individuals. This antigen is generally found in upper respiratory tract specimens during the acute phase of infection. Positive results indicate the presence of viral antigens, but clinical history and other personal diagnoses are needed to determine infection status. Positive results do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The pathogen detected may not be the exact cause of the disease. Negative results in subjects with symptoms appearing more than seven days ago should be treated as presumptive negative. If this occurs, seek confirmation by molecular analysis.
Negative results do not rule out SARS-CoV-2 infection. The SARS-CoV-2 rapid hygiene test is used as an aid in the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The utility of independent testing by subjects under 18 years of age has not been determined. It is recommended that those under 18 years of age be tested by an adult.
Test results are read visually within a successive 15 to 30 minute interval, depending on the presence or absence of colored lines. A colored line with a procedural control function will always appear in the control line area to indicate that sufficient sample volume has been inserted and that membrane absorption has occurred.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
